Mesa’s efforts at cleaning up its neighborhoods with the community’s help continues this month, with the area near Reed Park next in line. The city staff will help set up teams, each of which will take on items of concern, such as public safety and traffic, according to a Mesa news release.
The neighborhood is encompassed by Broadway Road, Gilbert Road, East 8th Avenue and Hill.
On Thursday (Nov. 6), Vice Mayor Kyle Jones, will speak at an orientation meeting for the program. Residents can also get information about various city departments and local nonprofits.
The meeting is being held inside the cafeteria at Franklin East Elementary School, 1753 E. 8th Ave at 6:30 p.m. For more info, contact Lindsey VerStraeten at 480-644-5434.
